Overview

Create a multi-level category tree (e.g. Food > Mains > Burgers). Categories are used for: POS browse navigation, sales reports by category, kitchen printing routing (category → station), and product filtering. Each category can have an icon and colour for visual identification on the POS. Categories sync across all terminals. Drag-and-drop reordering is available in the web console.

This feature is part of the inventory module. Organize products into hierarchical categories for browsing, reporting, and kitchen routing.
