Cloud Sync

Overview

The CloudSyncWorker on each Android device handles continuous background sync. Master data (products, categories, customers, tax rates) flows from cloud to device. Transaction data (orders, payments, clock events, stock counts) flows from device to cloud. Sync happens automatically when connected, using a last-modified timestamp strategy to minimize data transfer. Conflict resolution uses server-wins for master data and client-wins for transaction data. Sync status is visible in the app with last-sync timestamp.
