Order Notes

Overview

Cashiers can attach notes to the overall order (e.g. "customer will pick up at 3pm") or to specific line items (e.g. "no onions"). Notes appear on kitchen tickets and receipts. Useful for delivery instructions, gift messages, preparation preferences, and internal communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff.

How It Works

This feature is part of the pos module. Add free-text notes to orders and individual line items for special instructions.
