Order Types

Overview
Each order is tagged with a type: Dine-in (linked to a table), Takeaway (counter pickup), Delivery (driver assigned), or Collection (customer picks up later). The order type determines the workflow — dine-in orders go to tables, delivery orders enter the delivery queue, takeaway orders print a pickup receipt. Order type reports show revenue and volume by channel. Custom order types can be added for specific needs.
