Price Override

Overview
When a product price needs to be adjusted for a specific sale (e.g. price match, damaged goods, negotiated price), the cashier can override the price on the line item. A reason can be entered for the override. Price overrides above a configurable threshold can require manager PIN authorization. Overrides are tracked in reports showing original vs charged price for audit purposes.
How It Works
This feature is part of the pos module. Change the price of an item at the point of sale, optionally requiring manager approval.
