Overview
Generated when a cashier closes their shift or at end of day. The Z-report summarizes: gross sales, net sales (after refunds and discounts), sales by payment method, tax collected by rate, cash expected vs counted (variance), discount total, refund total, and transaction count. Z-reports are numbered sequentially and stored permanently for tax authority compliance. Can be printed or exported as PDF.
